Gene B Korman

Gene B. Korman, Sr, 79, Altoona, died Sunday morning, July 7, 2024, at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare.

He was born January 17, 1945, in Altoona, a son of the late Edward Korman, Sr., and Ida (Reffner) Korman.

Surviving are his wife, Ruth A. (Gray) Korman of Altoona and three children: one son, Gene B. Korman, Jr. (Peggy), of Gallitzin, two daughters, Tina Lee of Altoona and Shannon Lee (Kevin), of Gallitzin, nine grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren and one brother; James Korman of Altoona.

He was preceded in death by a grandson, Justin and five brothers and sisters.

He retired as a parking attendant at the Altoona Parking Authority.

Gene enjoyed camping but especially loved spending time with his family.

At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing.

A Celebration of Life will be announced at a later date. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery.
