Gary R. Rupert, Jr.

Gary R. Rupert, Jr., 65, Altoona, passed away Wednesday morning. He was born in Altoona, son of Gary. R., Sr. and Judith A. (Schiappa) Rupert.

In addition to his mother, Judith; he is survived by two sisters: Heidi Smith (Marc) of Mechanicsburg and Nicole Rothrouff (Micah) of Georgetown, TX; a special aunt, Annette Schiappa of Altoona; a special nephew, Connor; and special friends: Carl, Tim, Chris and Bill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Gary R. Rupert, Sr.

Gary was a 1977 graduate of Altoona High School. He worked for PPG in Tipton and was a house painter.

He attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church and enjoyed fishing, hunting, and Harley Davidson motorcycles. He also very much enjoyed his Saturday visits to the farm.

Gary was a very special son and will be forever missed.

A mass will be held at the convenience of the family.
