Fredric R. Smith

Fredric R. Smith, 80, Altoona, died Sunday evening at UPMC Altoona after a brief illness. He was born April 20, 1939, in Altoona, son of the late Ross F. and Mildred N. (Kunes) Smith. Surviving are three siblings; Sondra Jean Moyer of Altoona, James R. Smith of Reno, NV and Patti A. Jones of Narvon, PA. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces and cousins. Fred was a life member of Grace Fellowship Church, Juniata. He enjoyed his daily rides on Blair Sr. Service vans to ALSM, where the staff became his second family. He is also survived by his special caregiver, Lauren Levy. Services are private and interment will be at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood. Arrangements are by Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc.
