Francis J "Joe" Shura

Francis J. “Joe” Shura, 58, Altoona, passed away at his home surrounded by his family Saturday morning. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Stanley and Francis (Fox) Shura.

Surviving is his wife Connie; his siblings: William Wieland (Jeanne), Desmond Shura, Walter Shura (Carol), Stanley Shura, Cynthia Smith (Mike), Donald Shura (Cecelia); his sister in law Bonnie Thompson, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister in law Anna Marie, and his niece Maddison Shura.

Joe was an Altoona High School graduate, class of 1978.

A memorial service will be scheduled for a later date.
