Ella Elizabeth Kemberling

Ella Elizabeth Kemberling, 96, Altoona, passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon at her home. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late William and Clara (Gurkin) Wood. On June 5, 1946, she married Robert W. Kemberling in Altoona. He preceded her in death on July 20, 1999. She is survived by a daughter, Suzanne Johnson and husband Robert of Altoona; grandchildren: Graham Johnson and his son, Mason, Tamara Smith and her daughters: Laura, Sarah and Rosemarie, and Jarret Johnson and wife Slavica and their daughters, Mila and Eva; a brother, Art Wood and wife Mary Jean; and a sister-in-law, Stella Wood. She was preceded in death by a brother, William Wood. Ella was homemaker and a member of Providence Presbyterian Church. She enjoyed collecting antiques. At the request of the deceased, private family services will be held. Interment will take place at Oak Ridge Cemetery. Arrangements are by Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc.
