Doris May Jarrett

March 21, 1938 — April 28, 2021

Doris May Jarrett, 83, Duncansville, passed away Wednesday morning at her home after a courageous battle with many illnesses. She was born in Detroit, MI, daughter of the late James and Helen (Weston) Phelan. On November 4, 1959, she married Charles D. Jarrett.

In addition to her husband of 61 years, she is survived by three children: Pamela (Keith) Holland of Altoona, Brenda Snyder of Altoona, and David Jarrett of Duncansville; grandchildren: Ashley (Brandon) Singer, Noah Holland, and Autumn Snyder; two great grandchildren; siblings: Lydia Phelan, Jean Hatfield, James Phelan, Gerald (Jane) Phelan, Allen Phelan, and George Snowberger.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Pete Snowberger.

Doris worked at Country Garden Market for many years as a cashier. She enjoyed her flowers, reading, and shopping for the latest fashions.

At the request of the deceased, there will be no services. The family requests you plant a flower in her memory.
