Donna Jean Pruyn

Donna Jean Pruyn, 85, Altoona, passed away Sunday at her home.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Harold and Ruth (Dodson) Ritchey.

On May 2, 1958, she married Frank Walter Pruyn at Jones Swamp Holiness Church in Walterboro, SC.

In addition to her husband of 66 years; she is survived by a son, Frank Walter Pruyn, Jr. of Altoona; two daughters: Brenda Galliano in Secaucus, NJ and Carol Pruyn of Altoona; 12 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; and five siblings.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Debra Jean Koontz and three siblings.

She was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. She retired from Kings Restaurant in 2004.

Donna was a devout Christian and loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed yard sales and tech gadgets.

Friends will be received from 2 pm until the 3 pm Memorial Service on Thursday, May 16, 2023 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4^th Avenue, Altoona, with Timothy B. Koontz officiating.
