Dolores M. Foster

Dolores M. Foster, 92, Altoona, went home to her Lord and Savior on Saturday at Maybrook Hills Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.

She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Earl and Grace (Rollason) Lytle. On September 1, 1950, she married Kenneth M. Foster. He preceded her in death on September 15, 2010.

She is survived by three sons: Terry Foster (Beth) in Upper Spruce Creek, Joel Foster in Altoona and Brian Foster (Renee) in Hummelstown; five grandchildren; six great grandchildren; and one great grandchild; and four sisters-in-laws: Donna Jean Foster, Mary Lee Lytle, Cindy Lytle and Mary Lytle.

She was preceded in death by three brothers: Ronnie, Raymond and Allen Lytle.

Dolores was a 1950 graduate of Altoona High School. She was a homemaker and enjoyed her garden. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church, Warriors Mark.

Family and friends will be received from 10 to 11 am on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Altoona, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 11 am with Pastor David Donnelly officiating. Interment will be made at Graysville Cemetery, Spruce Creek.
