Dianne Louise Martel, 76, formerly of Juniata Gap, Altoona, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday.

She was born in Altoona, the daughter of the late Clarence and Florene (Earnest) Keith.

On September 9, 1972, she married John E. Martel in Altoona.

In addition to her husband; she is survived by two sons: Josh and wife Michelle of Everett and Seth and wife Lisa of Roaring Spring; grandchildren: Sarah, Ethan, Levi, Luke, Leah, Lydia (Ethan), Caleb and Titus; two great grandchildren: Gideon and Adeline; and a sister, Lelie Troxell.

She was preceded in death by a brother, Timothy.

Dianne was a 1968 graduate of Altoona High School. She trained to be a lab tech at the Altoona Hospital, where she met her husband, John, the love of her life.

She was a longtime member of Calvary Baptist Church, Altoona, where she was active in Ladies Fellowship, taught junior church and helped with the live nativity.

A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Saturday, October 24, 2026 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Altoona, with Pastor Ron Anderson officiating. Interment will be made at Alto Reste Park.
