Diane L. Ott

Diane L. Ott, 70, of Altoona, passed away late Friday evening at her home surrounded by family and friends. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Calvin G. and M. Harriet (Dunn) Ott. Surviving is her granddaughter, Breia Shaffer of Altoona; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and close friends: Launa Lauer and Bonnie Shaner; as well as many other friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Corey Botteicher. Diane was a graduate of Altoona High School, class of 1967. She retired after many years from the accounting department at the Carpenter Company. She attended Bethany Lutheran Church, and was a member of the Swiss Club of Altoona, where she was co-founder of Take Care of Our Own program, which helped those in need within the Swiss Club who were battling cancer. At the request of the deceased, there will be no funeral services. Inurnment will be made at Blair Memorial Park.
