Diana Rose Bobak

Diana Rose Bobak, 71, Northern Cambria, passed away, unexpectedly, Friday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Spangler, daughter of the late Andrew and Eve (Bernecky) Bodnar. She is survived by a son, Justin Bobak and wife Vasanthi Sivaprakasam of Silver Spring, MD; a grandson, Karthik Bobak; siblings: James Bodnar of Altoona, John Bodnar of Cuba, NY, Tom Bodnar (Judy) of St Louis, MO and Donna Hajduk of Cherry Tree, RD; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by siblings: Andrew “Sonny” Bodnar, Mary Jean Presloid and Debra Bodnar; and a nephew, Robert Bodnar. Diana was a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse who worked for over 40 years at Miners Hospital/Medical Center in the Med-Surg Department. At the request of the deceased, no public services will be held.
