Deborah Joy Ross, 73, Altoona, went home to her Lord and Savior on Monday.

She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Daniel and Anna Mae (Warrender) Luciano.

On August 28, 1971, she married Ronald R. Ross in Altoona.

In addition to her husband, Ronald; she is survived by a daughter, Tammy Shaw (Kerry) of Altoona; a son, Ronnie Ross of Altoona; grandchildren: Katelyn and Chloey Shaw and Braelyn, Lincoln, Finnley, Jovie and Theo Ross and their mother, Kaitlin Ross; and a sister, Marcy Hoover of New York.

She was preceded in death by siblings: Ralph Luciano and Sharen Ferguson.

Deborah was a devoted member of Trans4mation Church, where she faithfully served in many areas of ministry throughout the years. She was a cherished member of the choir and generously used her creative talents to help design costumes for church productions. Her willingness to serve and her warm spirit touched many lives within the church family.

Above all, Deborah's greatest joy was her family. She especially treasured her grandchildren, who brought immeasurable happiness to her life.

Family and friends will be received from 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at Trans4mation Church, 1001 S 1st Street, Altoona, PA 16602. Friends will also be received from 10 am to 12 pm on Thursday, July 23, 2026 at the church where a funeral service will immediately follow at 12 pm with Pastor Jim Balzano officiating. Interment will be made at Blair Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc.
