Clair Allen Runk, Jr., 88, Altoona, passed away Wednesday at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Altoona, son of the late Clair Allen, Sr. and Alma (Baker) Runk.

On May 7, 1960, he married Doris J. Guerin in Altoona.

In addition to his loving wife of 65 years, he is survived by three children: Ralph Runk and wife Carla, Lori Wills and husband Larry and Mike Runk (Jenifer); ten grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and siblings: Gordon Runk and Donna Brubaker.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin Burkett; a grandson, Mikey Runk and two sisters: Beverly Wood and Judy Biddle.

Clair was an active member of the First Church of Christ in Altoona. He had a passion for hunting, fishing, and enjoyed working on word search puzzles.

He proudly served as a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps.

Friends will be received from 1 to 3 pm on Monday, January 19, 2026 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Altoona, where a funeral service will begin at 3 pm. Interment will be made at Blair Memorial Park.
