Charles Vincent Arrow, Sr.

Charles Vincent Arrow, Sr., 74, Altoona, passed away Sunday at UPMC Altoona.

He was born in Charleroi, son of the late Charles Harold and Mary (Baron) Arrow.

He is survived by his wife, Antoinette; three children: Rena Barnett, Charles Vincent Arrow, Jr. and Brian C. Arrow, all of Altoona; son-in-law, Michael Lombardo; grandchildren: Jacob Arrow, Zoie Arrow, Rebekka Arrow, Anthony Lombardo and Nathanial Charles Arrow; a brother, Andrew Sowinsky in New Jersey; and a sister, Kathy Perky in Charleroi.

Charles worked as a mechanic in Browns Mills, NJ before coming to Altoona. He was a member of the VFW and a lifetime member of the 173^rd Airborne Brigade (Sky Soldiers).

He enjoyed fishing, music, cars, photography and Steelers football.

A graveside service will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at Grandview Cemetery, 787 Forsht Lane, Altoona, 16601 with military honors. Interment will be made immediately following the service.
