Byron Donald Micah Stroud

Byron Donald Micah Stroud, aka Micah, 45, Tyrone, passed away Thursday morning at his home. He was born in State College, son of Byron Lee and Elaine Carol Shafer-Stroud. On February 25, 1995, he married Meghan Lorraine Fields in Petersburg, PA. In addition to his wife, Meghan, of 25 years, he is survived by his mother, Elaine of Williamsburg; a daughter, Israel Stroud of Grand Island, NE; a son, B.R. Conner Stroud of Pittsburgh; a brother, Robert Stroud of NJ; and two sisters: Catherine Martin of TN and Peggy McCoy of NV. Micah was employed by PHEAA. He enjoyed archeology, sci-fi, reading, and role playing games. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1837 E Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, 16602.
