Beverly Jeanne Brown

Beverly Jeanne Brown, 89, Altoona, passed away Friday at Colonial Courtyard at Tyrone.

She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late George and Mary Catherine (Sharbaugh) Meister.

On January 23, 1960, she married Edwin Fleck Brown. He preceded her in death on October 6, 2012.

She is survived by two daughters: Sharon Furbee (Robert) of West Chester and Dee Gudenau (Richard) of St. Clair Shores, MI; a son, Matthew Brown (Sharon) of Altoona; and two grandsons: Thomas Furbee (Timber) of Allston, MA and James Furbee (Alexandria) of Seattle, WA.

Beverly was a graduate of Temple University. She worked as an RN/Supervisor at Blair Medical Associates until her retirement.

She enjoyed bridge and gardening.

A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will take place at Grandview Cemetery.
