Audrey I. Woomer

Audrey I. Woomer, 83, Altoona, passed away at Amber Terrace at the Altoona Center for Nursing Care early Sunday. She was born in Tipton, daughter of the late Robert and Sylvia (Cherry) Johnson. On September 11, 1954 she married Kenneth Woomer, who survives her. Surviving are two daughters: Liesl Kyle and her husband Michael, and Tami McQueeney and her husband John; two grandchildren: Rowan Kyle and Griffin Kyle; as well as numerous sisters. She was preceded in death by her son, Scott Woomer. Audrey was a graduate of Bellwood-Antis High School. She retired after many years of service from Valley View Nursing Home. She enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, New Jersey, lottery scratch-off tickets, and shopping the QVC channel. No services for Audrey are scheduled at this time.
