Arlene J Hileman

  Arlene J. (Nan) Hileman, 96, went to be with the Lord Thursday afternoon, November 18, 2021, at Garvey Manor Nursing Home.  She was born August 12, 1925, in Logan Township, Altoona, a daughter of the late James M. and Maud (Cornelius) Dunn.  She married Clair V. Hileman on January 17, 1942, in Winchester, VA.  He preceded her in death on January 11, 2011.

  Surviving are two sons; Thomas C. (Susan K.) Hileman, of Juniata Gap, Pastor Lou (Teri) Hileman of Greenwood, one daughter Beverly A. Butler (Charles) of Altoona, one daughter in law; Jenny Hileman of Homers Gap, 10 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by one son, Timothy, a granddaughter, Kimberly and seven brothers and sisters.

  Nan was a member of Grace Bible Church, Hollidaysburg.  She loved the Lord and her church family.  She also loved baseball games.

  Friends will be received from 10 am until Noon Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4^th Avenue, Altoona, PA  16601, followed by a funeral service at Noon, with Pastor Lou Hileman, officiating.  Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery.

  In Lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 1645 West 8^th Street, Erie, PA 16505.
