Amy Beth Elder

Amy Beth Elder, 46, Portage, passed away Monday evening at her home. She was born in Hornell, NY, daughter of the late James Mack and Kathleen Viola (Nichols) Elder. Amy is survived by a sister, Holly Cribb and husband Michael of Manassas, VA; two nephews: James and Chase Cribb; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins including: Sue and Steve Williams, Jen Williams, and Wendy Burkett; boyfriend, Andy Nevarre; and dear friends: Debi Kelly, Lori Moore, Michelle Garver, and Don Disabbito. She was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Elder. Amy received a Bachelor in Science in Business from Mount Aloysius College and worked for UPMC Altoona Hospital as a Certified Pharmacy Technician. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, September 13, 2019 at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata, where a funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, September 14. Pastor Dave Taylor officiating. Interment will take place at Blair Memorial Park, Antis Township.
