Alene M. Kibler

Alene M. Kibler, 92, Altoona, passed away Saturday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late Adrian and Bessy (Stump) Ross. On November 3, 1951, she married Orville J. Kibler in Cumberland, MD. He preceded her in death on September 1, 1992. Alene is survived by a son, Alan S. Kibler and his wife Cathy of Altoona. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Jo Kibler; a grandson, Scott Alan Kibler; and five brothers and sisters. Alene was a 1947 graduate of Altoona High School. She retired as the credit manager of Meyer Jonasson. She was a member of the 28th Street Church of the Brethren and most recently attended Altoona First Church of the Brethren. She enjoyed reading. A private family service will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment took place at the Presbyterian Cemetery in Hollidaysburg. Arrangements are by Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc.
