Marylou Hann

Marylou Hann, 66, of Altoona, died Sunday at Altoona Regional Health System, Altoona Hospital Campus. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Alfred and Annabelle (Merritts) Wombacher. Surviving are 4 children: a son Mark Hann, a daughter Brenda Zimmerman, a son Terry Hann, and a daughter Judy Hann; 10 grandchildren; 7 great-grandhchildren; 7 step-children; 11 step-grandchildren; 3 brothers: David Wombacher, Tim Wombacher, Sam Wombacher; 2 sisters: Becky Wombacher, Sally Wombacher; 2 daughter-in-laws and 1 son-in-law; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Marylou retired as a nurse's aid from the Lutheran Home in Hollidaysburg. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, and loved animals. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Wednesday, January 7, 2009, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., where services will be held Thursday, January 8, at 10 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Central PA Humane Society.
