Minerva L Thompson

Minerva L. Thompson, 84, of Juniata, died Friday evening at her home. She was born in Williamsburg, a daughter of the late Charles and Marguerite (Burris) Farringer. She married Larue (Larry) E. Thompson on August 13, 1955 at Rock Hill Furnace. He preceded her in death onApril 5, 1997. She retired as a personal buyer at Valley View Home. Mrs. Thompson graduated from Williamsburg High School and Nyack Missionary College in New York. Surviving are two daughters, Bonnie Thompson, Connie Thompson, one grandson, Kenny Piner, II, and one sister Elsie Gunnett. Friends will be received from noon until the 3pm service, Thursday, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., Juniata. Interment at Grandview Cemetery.
