Long, Thomas RichardJuly 1, 1921-----March 18, 2009 Thomas Richard Long, 87, of Altoona, died Wednesday at Altoona Hospital. He was born in Altoona, and married Mary S. Burkholder, who survives him. Thomas retired as a movement director at the PRR after many years of service. He was a graduate of Altoona High School, and enjoyed traveling. Friends will be received from 1PM until the 2PM funeral service Monday, March 23, 2009, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc, with Rev. Carol Gathagan, officiating. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
