Gladys K. McManamy

Gladys K. McManamy, 96, Martinsburg, formerly of Greenwood, passed away early Thursday morning at The Village at Morrison Cove. She was born in Clearfield, daughter of the late James and Dora (Tubbs) Gordon. She married Melvin C. McManamy, who preceded her in death on August 25, 1979. She is survived by nieces and nephews: William Gordon (Susan), Karen Myers, Robert J. Gordon, Sharon Shoenfelt (Ron), and Robert McManamy (Susan); and several great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three brothers: William, Blaine, and Eldon Gordon. Gladys was a graduate of Clearfield High School and a former member of the Altoona Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Gladys worked for a short time at the Clearfield Pharmacy before becoming a homemaker. Friends will be received Sunday, March 8, from 2 to 6 PM at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata where a funeral service will be held, Monday, March 9, at 11 AM with Pastor Ralph Hamer officiating. Interment at Greenwood Cemetery.
