Laura A McGraw

Laura A. McGraw, 84, of Altoona, passed away Wednesday morning at Valley View Health & Rehabilitation Center after an extended illness. She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Roland E. and Mildred (Smeltzer) Merritts. She married Donald P. McGraw on February 12, 1950 in Lakemont United Methodist Church. Surviving are her husband, Donald; one son, Michael J. and wife Lynette of Altoona, PA; one daughter, Deborah Gougler and husband Robert of Glenolden, PA; seven grandchildren: Michael (Hope) of Claysburg, PA, Christopher (Jessica) of Altoona, PA, Tara (Travis) of Altoona, PA, Brian (Jessica) of Springfield, PA, Danny (Erica) of Secane, PA, and Jessica of Carlisle, PA; great grandchildren: Trevor, Cameron, Kalynn, Shane, Nevan, Grace, Brett, Tyler, Macy, Erica, Clayton, Daniel, and Aubrey; and three sisters: Mary Booher, Linda Troger and Danni Dent. She was preceded in death by a son, Richard. Friends will be received from 11 AM until the 1 PM funeral service, Friday, March 13, 2015, at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, Inc. Interment at Blair Memorial Park.
