Sharon L. Ecker

Sharon L. Ecker, 67 of Altoona, passed away late Sunday evening at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona, the daughter of the late William Edward, Sr. and Viola Annette (Quarello) Hann. She married Raymond T. Ecker who preceded her in death in 2007. She is survived by fiancée, Ed Wilkinson of Altoona; two children: Thomas L. Ecker and wife Lisa of Lakemont and Brenda M. Knox and husband Brad of Altoona; four grandchildren: Kristianna Walker and husband Matt, Dalaina Ecker, Richard Ecker, and Zachary Knox; two great Grandchildren: Valenciya and Raiyla Wiley; and siblings: Bonnie L. Hughes and husband Skip, William E. Hann Jr. and wife Debbie, Ronald I. Hann and wife Kathy, Vickie I. Dempsie and husband Bill, and Kevin S. Hann and wife Candi. She was preceded in death by great granddaughter Ayllanna Wiley. Retired employee of the Juniata Silk Mill. She was a lifetime member of the Bavarian Aid Society and a Loyal Bingo Player. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM, on Thursday, May 7, 2015 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata, where a funeral service will be held, Friday, May 8, 2015 at 11 AM with Pastor Elizabeth Hess officiating. Interment at Blair Memorial Park.
