Roy G. Hockenberry

Roy G. Hockenberry, 81, Altoona, passed away early Tuesday morning at Ridgeview Elder Care Rehab Center. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Dorce and Margaret Hockenberry. He was twice married, first to Mary Otto Barr, and second to Sarah A. Geist. Sarah preceded him in death on October 17, 2001. Roy is survived by two sons, Jeff and wife Wanda, and Jim, all of Altoona. Roy retired from Altoona Pipe and Steel and was a former member of the Juniata VFW Fort Apache. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. Friends will be received, Thursday, August 27, 2015 from 4 to 6 p.m. at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata where a funeral service will be held 6 p.m. with Pastor Ralph Hamer officiating. Interment at Calvary Cemetery.
