Brenda L. Long

Brenda L. Long, 55, Hollidaysburg, went to be with her Lord and Savior in the early morning of Sept. 19, 2015, at her home. She was born in Perth Amboy, N.J., daughter of Mary Lykens and the late William Misner. She married Timothy Long on June 8, 1978, in Altoona. Surviving are her husband; her mother of Tyrone; two sons: Tim and wife, Katie, of Mount Lebanon and Dalton Rivera of Hollidaysburg; a grandson, Cooper Long of Mount Lebanon; and a brother, Steve Misner and wife, Lorie, of Fords, N.J. Brenda graduated from Mount Aloysius College as a psychiatric technician. She enjoyed riding her motorcycle, reading, swimming, and taking care of her son and grandson. She will be missed greatly by her family and friends and her cat, Knuckles. A celebration of Brenda?s life will be held at noon Saturday, Oct. 10, 2015, at Hollidaysburg Christian and Missionary Alliance, 183 Jefferson St., Hollidaysburg, Pastor Steve Miller officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
