Ruth Ann Fornari

Ruth Ann Fornari, 71, of Altoona, died at her home early Monday morning surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Ashville, PA, a daughter of the late George Franklin and Mildred Geraldine Adams. She married Joseph Fornari, November 26, 1960. She is survived of her husband of 54 years; five children: Terry Fornari, JoAnn Haun, Jim Fornari, Karen Fornari, and Anthony Fornari; 11 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; four sisters: Iva Pfahler, Charlotte Shumac, Betty Schillings, and Sylvia Merritts; and two brothers: Ron and Raymond Adams with most living in Altoona. She was preceded in death by three brothers: George, Charles, and Robert Adams; and two sisters: Jane Fornari and Vera Laughlin. Ruth was a homemaker, loving wife and mother. She will be greatly missed by family and friends. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, October 15, 2015 at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata, where a funeral service where be held, at 11 a.m. Friday, October 16, 2015, with Pastor Kathy D. Colebank officiating. Interment at Blair Memorial Park Cemetery.
