Alton Lee Swartz

Alton Lee Swartz, 74, Hollidaysburg, passed away early Friday morning at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Cyrus T. and Goldie M. (Ziegler) Swartz. Alton is survived by a sister, Verna Giarth; three nieces: Linda Clapper and husband Henry, Phyllis Paul, and Sherry Shanner; one great nephew; numerous great nieces; and numerous cousins. He was preceded in death by a sister, Kathryn Albright; two brothers: George and Frank; and a niece, Susie Smith. Alton served in the United States Army from 1962 to 1965. He attended Altoona High School and retired from Altoona Bus Authority (Amtran). Private family services will be held. Inurnment at Calvary Cemetery.
