Linda Lee Miller Stine

Linda Lee Miller Stine, 67, Altoona, passed away early Sunday morning at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late George Harold and Doris Jean (Kiser) Miller. Linda is survived by two daughters: Kimberly Miller and Mandy Stine, both of Altoona; four grandchildren: Cammie Teeters of Altoona, Tyler Stine of Altoona, Cameron and Lacey Hammond of Martinsburg; a brother, Daron Miller of Texas; two son-in-law's: Charles Teeters of Huntingdon and Joseph Hammond of Flinton; beloved friends and confidants: Tonya Frantz of Altoona and Nancy Smith of Roaring Spring; numerous nieces and nephews; and many beloved family members and friends. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Staff Sergeant Stacey Hammond and two brothers: George and Steven Miller. Linda was an Altoona High School graduate and received a nursing a degree from the VoTech. She retired in the early 2000's as an LPN from Valley View Nursing Home. She enjoyed card games, the casino, and enjoyed spending time with her beloved grandchildren and family. Friends will be received Wednesday, November 18, 2015 from 4 until the 6 p.m. funeral service at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata, with Pastor Elizabeth Hess officiating.
