Richard A. “Dick” Quarello, 63, Altoona, passed away Thursday.
He was born in Altoona, son of the late Edgar W. and Edna M. (Palmer) Quarello.
Dick is survived by a sister, Judy A. Deremer; brother-in-law, Chet Deremer; two nephews: Shawn Gioiosa and Christopher Rickabaugh; a niece, Maranda Deremer; faithful companion, Sadie; and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his nephew, Brian Deremer.
Dick was a 1972 graduate of Altoona High School and previously worked as a Warehouseman for Norfolk Southern.
He was a member of the Buccinese Society. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, baseball, football and enjoyed participating and watching all sports with his friends.
Friends will be received from 3 until the 7 p.m. memorial service, Thursday, May 12, 2016 at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Juniata with Pastor Elizabeth Hess officiating.
