Darlene K. Marlett, 69, Altoona, passed away early Saturday morning at Maybrook Hills.
She was born in Altoona, daughter of the late Walter and Dorothy McGinnis. She married James L. Marlett.
In addition to her husband, James, she is survived by a son, James P. Marlett (Danielle) of Martinsburg and 14 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracy J. Troutman.
Darlene worked for the Altoona Mirror alongside her husband, as a carrier and was an avid bingo player and loved cats.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Wednesday June 1, 2016 at Mauk and Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Altoona where a time of sharing will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 2, 2016. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family to help with funeral costs.
