Dorothy Jean Young

Dorothy Jean Young, 77, Altoona, passed away Thursday evening at UPMC Altoona.
She was born in Clearfield, daughter of the late Lawrence E. and Mildred (Kramer) Moyer.
Dorothy is survived by four children: Mary K. Rhodes (Thomas), William “Bill” Young, Candy Sue Martino, all of Altoona, and Melanie A. Keener (Richard) of Hollidaysburg; and many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She graduated from Clearfield High School and was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo and cards.
Friends will be received from 10 until the noon funeral service Monday, August 8, 2016 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Altoona. Cal Wiedemann officiating. Interment at Stoneville Cemetery, Clearfield.
In lieu of flowers, memorials donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Blair County Unit 1004 N Juniata St., Hollidaysburg, PA 16648.
