Carol A. Rockwell, 72, Belleview, FL, formerly of Bellwood, passed away Thursday in Belleview, FL after a courageous battle.
She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Paul C. and Elizabeth A. (Johns) Matlack. On August 14, 1979 she married Paul M. Rockwell. He preceded her in death on November 12, 2013.
Surviving is a sister, Pauline E. Weimer of Altoona; three nephews: Richard of Carroltown, Steven of Bellwood, and Scott of Altoona; two great nephews; two great nieces; two great-great nephews; 3 great-great nieces; and two step-sons: Gary and Brian Rockwell and a step-daughter, Brenda Catlin and their families, all of New York.
Carol was a Bellwood-Antis Graduate and a homemaker.
She and her husband, Paul, enjoyed traveling in their RV for many years.
Friends will be received from 5 until the 7 p.m. funeral service at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue on Wednesday, December 21, 2016. Interment at Blair Memorial Park, Bellwood.
