James P. Reimer, 54, Altoona, passed away Monday morning at his home.
He was born in Altoona, son of James R. and Patty L. (Butterbaugh) Reimer.
In addition to his parents, James is survived by 8 aunts and uncles: Becky Hoffman of Altoona, Barbara Diehl of Altoona, Robert Butterbaugh of Allentown, David Butterbaugh of Bellwood, John Butterbaugh of Juniata, Ron Butterbaugh of Bellwood, Jean Butterbaugh of Bellwood, and Judy Butterbaugh of Bellwood; and several cousins.
James was a 1980 graduate of Altoona High School and retired from Lawruk Machine & Tool Company as a welder.
He enjoyed traveling with friends, working on cars, music, and sports, especially the Pittsburgh Steelers.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 11 a.m. at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Altoona.
