Zelda Dell Allen

January 28, 1948 — April 22, 2017

Zelda Dell Allen, 69, Camp Hill, formerly of Altoona, passed away early Saturday morning at The Gardens at Camp Hill, Camp Hill, PA.

She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Ray and Lena (Rouzer) Dell. She married Patrick F. Allen and he preceded her in death on November 9, 2011.

She is survived by three children: Thomas Wright, of Altoona, Elizabeth (Larry) Ruddek, of Altoona, and Patricia (Jason) High, of Harrisburg; seven grandchildren: Casey, Carey-Lyn, and Chandler Wright, Delaney and Patrick Ruddek, and Jasmine and Trevor High; and a great grandson, Charlie Wright.

Zelda enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, walking, knitting, and gardening.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., Juniata and from 10 until the 11 a.m. funeral service on Wednesday, April 26 at Juniata United Methodist Church, 808 N 4^th Street, Altoona, 16601. Pastor T.R. Hardic officiating. Interment will be made at Grandview Cemetery, Altoona.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a flower be planted in honor of Zelda.
