Ricke A. Love, 72, Altoona, passed away early Tuesday morning at Hillview Nursing Home.
He was born in Altoona, a son of the late Emanuel and Margaret (Glunt) Love. He married Nancy A. Love. She preceded him in death on February 25, 2007.
Ricke is survived by two daughters: Vicky Martz and husband Barry of Altoona and Sherri Horne and husband Derek of Bedford; four grandchildren: Brandon, Sarah, J.T., and Owen; a great grandchild, Oswin; two sisters: Marilyn Bair and Terrie Pluechel; and two brothers: Don and Denny Love.
He was preceded in death by two sisters: Margarete Anderson and Jean Sarafin and a brother, John Love.
Ricke worked as a machinist for Thompson’s Machine and was a member of Grace Bible Church.
Friends will be received on Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., 719 N 4th Avenue, Altoona, 16601 where a funeral service will be held on Friday, June 23 at 11 a.m. Interment will be made at Blair Memorial Park Cemetery, Antis Township.
