Grace A. Rupert, 100, Altoona, passed away Monday at Hillview Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Oscar M. and Fannie G. (Green) Wolfe. On August 26, 1935, she married John C. Rupert. He preceded her in death on October 1, 1983.
Grace is survived by five children: Gary R. (Judith), of Altoona, Sondra Rupert, of Altoona, John C., Jr. (Barbara), of Altoona, Gloria Salomie, of Altoona, and Kathy Ashby (Larry), of Reno, NV; 11 grandchildren; and 12 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia Prescott, and three grandchildren: Lisa, Gloria Jo, and Cathy.
Grace was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking, sewing, and working on crossword puzzles.
A private family service will be held.
