Scott Francis Pfahler

Scott Francis Pfahler, 26, Altoona, died Thursday.
He was born in Altoona, a son of Richard D. Pfahler and Peggy K. (Pendergrast) Bovard.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Malayna N. (Detwiler) Pfahler; five sons: Owen, Ondre, Kashus, Sylus, and Alijah Pfahler; a brother, Mike E. Shaw of Altoona; two sisters: Melanie Servello of Tampa, FL and Brittany Bovard of Altoona; two aunts: Linda Rock and Susan Pfahler; an uncle, Kevin Pfahler; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Scott worked for G&R Excavating. He enjoyed spending time with his wife and their children. He had numerous friends who he loved dearly.
A gathering of friends will be held from 5 until the 5:30 p.m. memorial service on Thursday, August 17, 2017 at New Life Community Church of Altoona, 621 Bell Avenue, Altoona. Pastor Terry Farr officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family, care of Malayna Pfahler.
