Eileen Louise Shawley

Eileen Louise Shawley, 57, Altoona, passed away Sunday evening at her home.
She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Lewis Field and Joan Russell. On October 22, 1982, she married William Robert Shawley, Jr. in Altoona.
In addition to her husband of 35 years, she is survived by her step-mother, Marlene Field of Altoona; two sons: William Robert, III and Adrian Lewis; a granddaughter, Avarie Alyson Shawley; five sisters: Joan, Dawn Marie, Connie, Maggie, and Diane; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.
Eileen was a graduate of Altoona High School and attended classes at Penn State University.
Eileen worked various jobs throughout her life. She owned Blair County Answering Service and worked as an operator for Verizon. She was an avid reader and enjoyed traveling. Her granddaughter, Avarie, was the light of her life.
Private family services will be held.
