Donna Marie Treese

Donna Marie Treese, 69, Altoona, passed away Wednesday morning, after a brief illness, at her home.
She was born in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late James N. and Ann (Yusko) Dominick. On September 16, 1972 at St. Mark’s Church, Altoona, she married Steven Ray Treese. He preceded her in death on January 29, 2016.
She is survived by a daughter, Amber Marie Treese (Chris Vipond) and one expected grandchild, of Altoona; a son, Garon Ray Treese, of Altoona; a brother, Vince Dominick (Linda), of Irwin; an uncle, John Dominick, of Pitcairn; her brother's-in-law, Roy Treese (Patti), John Treese (Cherri), and sister in law, Sue Treese and numerous nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Donna retired from the Altoona Area School District in May of 2008. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, she loved listening to music and going to concerts, shopping, gardening, and traveling. She loved her dog, Rocky and grand-dog Mojo. The light that Donna brought to everyone’s life is the thing pictures are painted about and songs are written about. She was an instant best friend to all that had met her, and lifelong friends with all that knew her.
Friends will be received from 10 until the 1 p.m. funeral service on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc., Juniata, with Pastor Jon Neely officiating. Interment will be made at Grandview Cemetery, Altoona.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Central PA Humane Society, 1837 E Pleasant Valley Blvd., Altoona, PA 16602.
