Elizabeth Wills, “Libby”, 50, Altoona, died Wednesday morning at her home.
She was born in Altoona, a daughter of Jerry Burket and Joyce Fox. On March 18, 1995, she married Thomas Wills in Altoona.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters: Caitlin Wills, at the home and Allyssa Baker, of Altoona; her mother, Joyce Bookhammer, of Altoona; her father, Jerry Burket; two brothers: Eric and Tom Burket; an aunt, Paulie Cardone; and several nieces and nephews.
Libby retired as a detective from the county. She was an avid dog lover and spent many hours volunteering at local shelters.
At the request of the deceased, no public services will be held.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to an animal rescue shelter of your choice.
