Mary Gallagher

Mary A. Gallagher, 76, Altoona, died Wednesday at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Gallitzin, daughter of the late Eddie and Greta (Taylor) Conrad.

Mary was a graduate of Gallitzin High School she worked as a teacher's aid at Blair County Head Start, and previously at Easter Seals in Altoona. Surviving are her children: a son Terry of Hollidaysburg, a daughter Carmen and her husband Kevin of Altoona; her grandchildren: Mark Yerty, Terry Gallagher, Carrie Gallagher, Kevin Wertz, Jr., Robert Wertz, David Wertz, and Hannah Baker; her great grandchildren: Devin, Nate, Ashly, Tyler, Riley, and Landon; and her brother John Conrad.

Friends will be received from 11 AM to the 1 PM funeral service Monday, December 4, 2017, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc.
