David Dean Croft

David Dean Croft, 70, Altoona, died Thursday at the VA Medical Center, Altoona. He was born in Altoona, son of the late George and Marjorie Croft. He married Alice Anderson June 20, 1998, in Winchester, VA; she survives him.

Also surviving are his children: Mike Croft, David Croft, Sharon Croft, Mindy Croft, and Marilyn Croft; eight grandchildren; Harley, Zachery, Mason, Donovan, Kenzie, Torrin, Keegan, Christian and his brother Denny Croft.

David retired from Norfolk Southern as an Electrical Engineer. He served in the U.S. Army during Viet Nam as a Combat Medic, serving three tours. He was a former member of the Swiss Club, and a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School. He was an avid sports fan, and enjoyed the Food Network.

Friends will be received from 2 until the 4 PM memorial service Monday, December 18, 2017, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc, with Pastor Sanders Anderson of Corry, PA, officiating.
