David Conrad

David B. Conrad—05-06-1943---02-08-2018

David B. Conrad, 74, Flinton, passed away Thursday evening at his home. He was born in Altoona, son of the late Bernard and Evelyn (Rollo) Conrad. He married Sandra Baranik May 27, 1972. She preceded him in death in 2003.

Surviving are his daughters: Amy Dugan and her husband Robert of Port Matilda, PA; Heather Conrad of Robinsonville, MS; his brother Ralph Conrad and his wife Nancy of TX; his brother Michael Conrad and his wife Cathy of West Virginia; four nephews: Ralph Conrad, Jr, Matthew Conrad, Christopher Conrad, and Brian Conrad.

David was a graduate of Altoona High School, and attended Kent University on a football scholarship. He retired as a firefighter from the City of Altoona after many years of service. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, building puzzles, reading, and especially spending time with family.

Friends will be received from 1-3 and 5 until the 7 PM funeral service Monday, February 12, 2018, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc.
