Laurel Rodriguez

Laurel Rodriguez, 88, Altoona, passed away early Tuesday morning at UPMC Altoona. She was born in Altoona daughter of the late James C. and Alberta (Colyer) Williams. She married Michael C. Rodriguez, Sr., October 19, 1955, in Winchester, Va.

Surviving are her husband Michael; 8 children: Beverly, Stanley Williams, Richard Williams, Rose Marie, Roxane Rodriguez, Michael Rodriguez, Jr., Timothy Rodriguez, and Alex Rodriguez; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild; as well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son James Williams as well as all of her siblings.

Laurel was a homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo, and especially spending time with her family.

Friends will be received from 11 AM until the 1 PM memorial service Friday, February 23, 2018, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc. Inurnment will be at Blair Memorial Cemetery, Bellwood.
