Sharon Ann Nead, 68, Altoona, died late Monday evening at UPMC Altoona.
She was born in Altoona, a daughter of the late Bill Shingle. She married Robert James Nead, Sr. on January 1, 1970.
In addition to her husband of 48 years, she is survived by two sons: Robert James Nead, Jr. (Jamie Vincent) and Richard Andrew Nead (Faith Chipperfield), all of Altoona; four grandchildren: Chelsea, Delilah, Ares, and Drake; and nieces and nephews: Fuzzy, Moose, and Lee Ann.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Judith Geist.
Sharon enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren and was an Elvis enthusiast.
Private family services were held.
