Robert S. Gati

Robert S. Gati, 61, Altoona, died Sunday at UPMC Altoona. He was born in Staten Island, NY, son of the late Peter and Josephine (Cappadoro) Gati. He married Priscilla Bartley 8/17/2002.

Surviving is his wife Priscilla, his two doggie companions “Blackie 2” and “Boomer”, his sisters in law Harriet Gati and Jean Gati; her nephew Peter Gati and his wife Suzanne, his niece Christina Mauro an her husband Donald; 2 great nieces Alexndra and Taylor, and 2 great-nephews Peter and Anthony. He was preceded by two brothers: Peter Gati and Gino Gati.

Robert enjoyed music, pro wrestling, drag racing, outdoor concerts, volunteering at the Unter Uns, and socializing at the Bavarian Hall and the Buccinese.

Friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 PM Thursday, April 19, and from 10 AM until the 11 AM funeral service Friday, April 20, 2018, at Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc. Interment at Grandview Cemetery.
