Mary M. Karle, 86, Altoona, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday at UPMC Altoona.
She was born in Rhode Island, daughter of John and Pearl (Anderson) McCann.
Surviving are her four children: Niki Pellegrine, John (Sharon) Pellegrine, Steve (Maryann) Pellegrine, and Lori Pellegrine; 14 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Pellegrine, and son-in-law, Gary Moyer.
Mary was a graduate of Hollidaysburg High School and was a licensed realtor with Century 21.
Mary was a devout Christian who regularly attended Faith Baptist Church, but she enjoyed visiting other churches. She studied at the Altoona Bible Institute for many years and was currently hoping to graduate for the third time.
Mary loved her family and her pets. She enjoyed going on cruises, dancing, writing poems, meeting new people, and talking with everyone.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, July 2 at 4:00pm at Faith Baptist Church (315 40th St., Altoona).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Altoona Bible Institute (711 3rd St., Altoona) to continue the Great Commission that Mary was so passionate about.
